Reiki

Reiki had been used:

• to decrease the time it takes to heal from surgery and injuries,
• to diminish the side effects from chemotherapy,
• to help establish a change to desirable habits, 
• to function as energetic "first aid",
• to calm anxious and upset feelings, and
• to generally transform dis-ease into health and well-being for mind, body & spirit. 

Reiki uses universal light force energy : to relax & release blocks or dense energies in & around the body, to enhance energy flow, and to integrate or balance the energy in your body. It relieves stress and creates a relaxed, balanced state from which natural healing can take place. Reiki can be easily learned and practiced on yourself, family & friends. It enhances the effectiveness of other traditional and complimentary health methods. Reiki is not a religion and can deepen your spiritual beliefs and connection to whatever tradition(s) you practice.

Reiki Treatment Sessions

Reiki is healing energy work done with the person fully clothed.  It consists of light touch and is also done within the aura.  A Reiki session may be done at a distance, even sent around the world.  A standard session lasts about an hour and is available by appointment.

Reiki Classes

Reiki can be easily learned and practiced on yourself, family and friends. Reiki I & II classes are usually taught as a 2-day weekend intensive. Advanced Reiki Training plus Reiki Master classes are designed for practitioners who are using Reiki on a daily basis, want to expand their knowledge & Reiki abilities, and /or are interested in teaching Reiki.

Robin is a licensed master teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT).  Why take Reiki classes from a ICRT licensed teacher?

The International Center for Reiki Training, Inc. (ICRT) has been offering training, and licensing master teachers for 20+ years. ICRT is internationally recognized for providing a well organized, thorough curriculum presented by professional teachers. All ICRT Licensed Reiki Master teachers have proven their dedication to their Reiki work through a comprehensive, 3+ year advanced training program. The advanced training begins only after the applicants have demonstrated that they have taken basic training in all levels of Reiki, that they are operating a Reiki practice, and have excellent references from clients, students, teachers and former employers. Should a student ever wish to make application to the ICRT Reiki Master Teacher Licensing Program, the Reiki classes taught by Robin will have provided the necessary qualifications to do so. Also, as a Teacher Licensed by the ICRT I am able to offer continuing education contact hours to nurses, occupational therapists, massage therapists, and body workers.

Here is the logo for the International Center for Reiki Training. The Japanese kanji in the center of the logo means Reiki which is spiritually guided life energy. The upward pointing triangle represents humanity moving toward God. The downward pointing triangle represents God moving toward humanity. Because the two triangles are united, and balanced, they represent humanity and God working together in harmony. The inner sixteen petaled flower symbolizes the throat chakra or communication. The outer twelve petaled flower symbolizes the heart chakra or love. The complete logo for the International Center for Reiki Training represents Reiki uniting God and humanity in harmony through the communication of love.

Labyrinth Activities

A labyrinth walk is a metaphorical journey that helps you quiet your mind, and find balance. It also encourages meditation, prayer, and insight. The labyrinth consists of a meandering, circular path to the center, and you walk the same path out again. There are no wrong choices to make in a labyrinth, unlike a maze. It is designed to help you find your way; symbolically the journey helps you to integrate mind, body and spirit in a way that nourishes all three. Workshops combining the labyrinth and sound, prayer, sacred beadwork and other topics are available on request for your group.

Sound Healing

Sound healing in the form of toning, drumming, and music can be combined with Reiki or the labyrinth to enhance vibrational healing or to more deeply speak to the heart.

Triple Spiral Symbol

The triple spiral or triskele is an ancient Celtic symbol. The triple spiral represents the Soul's journey through the experiences, challenges, and inspirations of life.  The number three can represent many things including: the 3 persons of God in Christianity; the maiden, mother, & crone or divine feminine or earth goddess; or mind, body & spirit.  The triple spiral is used as a symbol in Sekhem-Seichem Reiki with the name of Shining Everlasting Living Facets of Eternal Compassionate Wisdom and Healing.
