handCome & Explore Bend Oregonhand

Bend is the major city in beautiful Central Oregon, with a population of about 80,000 people. The city covers 32 square miles. To the east is high desert vegetation and to the west, Bend is surrounded by U.S. Forest Service land, mountains and lakes. The city is noted for its scenic setting, mild climate, and year-round recreation opportunities. At an elevation of 3,625 feet, Bend enjoys the predominately dry climate of this high mountain desert basin. Sunny days, cool nights and low humidity characterize the weather.

The recreational opportunities offer residents and visitors year-round activities including premier skiing, golfing, fly fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, festivals and more. Scott Cook has authored the book, "Bend, Overall - 99 Hikes and Explorations in Central Oregon" for those who would like to get to know the area.  Browse the links below to plan your perfect vacation to accompany your Reiki Training!
