Our hands on healing workshops provide CE credit for professionals. This is an added

benefit of our training programs, and this service is offered for an additional charge to the student of $50 per license. There is no charge for a Generic CE Form.

mily Therapists. A Generic CE Form is available for all other professions. It is the responsibility of the student to determine if their governing body will accept our program for CE credit.

MASSAGE THERAPISTS AND BODY WORKERS 
CES is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing Education Approved Provider via ICRT (#158493-00). Please check with your individual state licensing board to determine if they accept CEs with NCBTMB as individual state requirements are subject to change without notice.

Contact Hours for Nurses, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists available via Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) 

NURSES
As an American Psychological Association approved provider Commonwealth Educational Seminar (CES) programs are accepted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Every state Board of Nursing accepts ANCC approved programs except California and Iowa. However, CES is also an approved Continuing Education provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #CEP15567) which is also accepted by the Iowa Board of Nursing.

Usui Reiki I & II – 14 hours
Holy Fire Reiki I & II – 14 hours
Usui/Tibetan ART/Master Teacher – 21 hours
Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher – 21 hours
Karuna Reiki ® Master Teacher – 21 hours

SOCIAL WORKERS – Prior to October 15, 2018
Commonwealth Educational Seminars, provider #1117, is approved as a Provider for Social Work Continuing Education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. ASWB approval period: October 15, 2015 through October 15, 2018. CES maintains responsibility for the program. Social Workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. 

SOCIAL WORKERS – After October 15, 2018
Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) is entitled to grant Social Work CEs for all of the following reasons: 1) CES is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA). 2) CES programs meet the rules and regulations per-state, of requirements for continuing education offerings. 3) Many states accept CEs for Social Workers because of approved provider states in any state. CES is recognized by the NYS Education Department’s State Board of Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed Social Workers. #SW-0444.

CES is entitled to award Social Work CEs in the following states: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC (To Be Determined), DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY.

Social Workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval as individual state requirements are subject to change without notice.

Continuing education credit for Marriage & Family Therapists is awarded in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IN, IA, KS, ME, MD, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NC, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VT, VA, WA, WI and WY.

CES maintains responsibility for these programs. In addition, CES is an approved CE provider for Florida Marriage & Family Therapists (CE Provider # 50-9633), an approved California Continuing Education Provider for Marriage & Family Therapists (Approval #PCE 4693) and an approved Continuing Education Provider for Texas Marriage & Family Therapists (Provider Number 557). 

 MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPISTS – After October 5, 2018
Continuing education credit for Marriage & Family Therapists is awarded in the following states: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN (TBD), MS, MO (TBD), MT (TBD), NE, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WI, WY. CES maintains responsibility for this program. 

CES is accredited by many professional organizations to offer Continuing Education credit. As state boards meet frequently and revise and/or clarify license requirements regularly, we always recommend you check with your state board for the most recent information.

HOW TO RECEIVE CREDIT    
To receive contact hours, please inform the Registrar when registering for class that you are a licensed nurse, massage therapist, social worker, or marriage and family counselor and that you would like to receive credit hours, and the necessary forms and paperwork will be prepared for you.

You must also: Attend all parts of the educational activity; participate in group practice sessions; and return demonstration of Reiki techniques.

When you register for our classes, please let us know that you would like to receive CEs, so we can bring the proper paperwork to class.

*How to Receive Reiki Continuing Education Credit

To receive contact hours, please inform your ICRT Senior Licensed Reiki Master Teacher, Robin Fuerst, when registering for class and provide your profession and license number.  The necessary forms and paperwork will be prepared for you.

It is our hope that we will make the CE program a self-sustaining program, and will be able to offer CEs to more professions in 2018.

All health professionals must:  Attend all parts of the educational activity, participate in all practice sessions, demonstrate all techniques, and complete all paperwork/forms to receive continuing education credits.
